The DMI-St. Joseph Group of institutions are Catholic Institutions of Higher Learning owned and managed by the Sisters of Daughters of Mary Immaculate(DMI) and Collaborators. These institutions are founded by Rev. Fr. J. E. Arulraj, OMI, Founder and Chairman of the Society. The institutions function with the blessings of His Em. Polycarp Cardinal Pengo, Archbishop of Dar es Salaam and His Lordship Rt. Rev. Methodius Kilaini, Auxiliary Bishop of Dar Es Salaam and under the patronage of His Grace Most Rev. Norbert W. Mtega, Archbishop of Songea.

The Group currently has three Institutions, namely :

1. St.Joseph College of Engineering and Technology(SJCET), Dar es salaam.
2. St.Joseph Institute of Information Technology(SJIIT), Songea.
3. Tanzania Institute of Management(TIM), Dar es salaam.
