St.Joseph Institute of Information Technology, Songea is located in a scenic valley of southern highlands of Tanzania, in the town of Songea, the institute offers an ideal setting and climate for a vigorous pursuit of knowledge and skill. The Institute, focused as it is in bringing out world - class IT professionals, thus provides a fine ambience for its training minds.

       The Institute with two programmes, Degree and Diploma in Computer Applications was started in the year 2004-2005. The Institute currently runs in St.Xaviour campus in the industrial area of the town and will soon move to a 35- acre new campus on the Dar es Salaam highway at Mishinga.
